Sarushima
This is one day course by ship from Yokosuka.
The fee is 40 USD from Tokyo.
Uninhabited island, Sarushima Island of about 1.6km in surroundings which
floats on the offing of Yokosuka city about one hour by train from Tokyo.
Ruins of the fortress of the Meiji era which remains in the island is
said to completely look like ruins in the animated cartoon 'LAPUTA: Castle
in the Sky' of Studio Ghibli, and so became the popular sightseeing spot
which a lot of people have visited recently.
