Kenrokuen and Kanazawa Castle
This is 2 day course. The fee is 300 USD
from Tokyo.
In the early morning guests take super express train from Tokyo to Kanazawa.
It takes 2hour half. After arriving Kanazawa, they take bus to Kenrokuen.
Kenrokuen is located in the city of Kanazawa.
It is convenient to use bus to go there. Kenrokuen in Kanazawa is justifiably
classified as one of Japan's "three most beautiful landscape gardens"
alongside Mito's Kairakuen and Okayama's Korakuen. The spacious grounds
used to be the outer garden of Kanazawa Castle and were constructed by
the ruling Maeda family over a period of nearly two centuries. Opened
to the public in 1871, Kenrokuen features a variety of flowering trees
which provide the garden with a different look for each season. They take
lunch there.
Then they go to Kanazawa castle which is close to Kenrokuen. Kanazawa
castle and Kenrokuen reflect the honor and history of Kaga Sovereignty.
In the evening they stay at hotel. Next morning after breakfast they take
walk along the city of Kanazawa to go shopping
